ABOUT THE MOM
Ingrid Nevins, WHNP
As a mom and nurse practitioner for years, I’ve worked with adolescents and young adults at Northeastern University, MIT and in a busy medical practice. College can bring some amazing moments, but also plenty of “I have no idea what I’m doing” days. Sometimes you don’t need someone to fix things, you just need someone to listen, help you think things through or remind you that you’re going to be okay. That’s why I created Backup Mom.
Think of me as your extra grown-up—the person you can call or text when you need a little perspective, encouragement, or just someone to say, “Okay, tell me what happened.”
